Great article, but it must be better checked in advance whether all buttons are properly secured. After 2 days of wearing the suit already have to sew 3 buttons again. I have lost 1 and would like to receive spare buttons.

On a black tailcoat the wool looks matt, which is exactly what makes the glossy lapels and the braid down the trouser legs stand out. That contrast is what gives the suit its formality.
